Dadri wetland faces destruction: Environmentalists

Greater Noida, Feb 5 (IANS) The Dadri wetland area in Greater Noida, which is home to over 220 species of birds, including the very rare Bristled Grassbirds, is facing destruction from encroachers and builders, environment activists said Saturday.

The uncultivated land here is turned into grasslands and the area now has several such fields, an activist said.

गाजियाबाद।। ग्रेटर नोएडा मिनी एक्सप्रेस – वे को लेकर ग्रेटर नोएडा अथॉरिटी और जीडीए के बीच विवाद फिर बढ़ गया है। ग्रेटर नोएडा अथॉरिटी रोड बनाने के लिए 11 करोड़ रुपये देने से पहले विस्थापित किए गए लोगों को दी गई 2 एकड़ जमीन की कीमत कोे भी प्रोजेक्ट में जोड़ना चाहती है। ऐसे में जीडीए के अधिकारी अब प्रोजेक्ट में आधा पैसा लगाने से पीछे हट सकते हैं , क्योंकि प्रोजेक्ट की कीमत काफी अधिक हो जाएगी। जीडीए का तर्क है कि इस रोड का पूरा फायदा ग्रेटर नोएडा अथॉरिटी को होगा , ऐसे में जीडीए इतना पैसा क्यों लगाए ?

Noida- Greater Noida Link Road (130 Meter Expressway) on Verge of Completion

A new vital expressway from Noida to Greater Noida is on the verge of completion after GNoida authorities removed all hurdles for the balance 5 km length of this 28 km exxpressway. The 23 Km of this 130-meter wide expressway is already completed a couple of months back. This new expressway will open great development avenues for the area now called Noida Extension. This is an especially very good news for the plot holders of Ansal Golf Link-2 since these plots are commanding only 60% rates of other sectors despite having same or better facilities.
